每當我想不到主糧做什麼的時候,比得包絕對是上佳、快速、簡單的餐單。假如時間不夠,可省略第二次發酵,只是軟度會稍低。
It makes a great substitution for bread especially when I'm less creative! The 2nd fermentation process can be skipped when kids are starving.

奶粉milk powder

    取1大盆,放進酵母、糖和溫水,靜置數分鐘後加入鹽; Dissolve yeast & sugar in warm water in a big container, rest for few mins then add salt.

    加入菜油以筷子混合; Add vegetable oil and mix well with the yeast water.

    加入高筋麵粉和奶粉,用筷子攪拌; Add bread flour and milk powder, mix with chopsticks.

    搓揉麵糰至表面光滑,以濕布蓋著; Knead the dough till its surface is smooth and cover with wet towel.

    按壓麵糰擠出空氣,切割成10個54g的小麵糰,以濕布蓋著,再靜置30分鐘; Press the dough and divide into 10 small equal balls (@54g), cover with wet towel for another 30 mins.

    預熱烤箱至200度。案板上撒高粉,按壓小麵糰,擀平至圓; Preheat oven to 200C. Dust countertop with bread flour, flatten the small ball by pressing, roll out till round.

    烤盤上灑上高粉,把擀好的扁麵糰平均置於盤內; Place each pita on top of floured baking tray.

    烤4分鐘或至金黃。 Bake for 4 mins or till light brown.

    搭配雞豆沾醬或湯品最為適合。 Serve best with hummus dip or soup.
