洛神花蜜餞Preserves

描述
轉涼的日子基本上就找不到洛神花了,即使有也沒有最初的嫩,做蜜餞似乎是唯一的選擇。

只把新鮮洛神花的花萼掰出,洗乾淨; Remove all the roselle pods, keep the petals and wash thoroughly.

使用塔斯曼尼亞的純天然蜂蜜極為香甜; I use pure Tasmanian honey.

把洛神花花萼放入玻璃瓶內,先放一層蜂蜜; Put some roselle petals into the bottom of the jar, followed by some honey.

再放一層花萼一層蜂蜜; Repeat the previous step.

放滿瓶子後以厚厚的蜂蜜封頂; Until the roselle petals are done, seal with a thick layer of honey.

搖勻,蓋好,室溫密漬48小時,每天搖晃一下,使其均勻; Shake well, cover, marinate for at least 48 hours. You can shake a bit every day.

過了兩天,體積變得小了,而蜂蜜也變得比較稀了; When time is up, the volume reduces a bit.

饞了取一兩片出來享用,脆脆的口感,蠻特別的! It tastes a bit crunchy and sweet.

取蜂蜜汁沖水飲用相當滋潤。 Honey water is good too!
