Easy tiramisu!

Put a large bowl (or mixing bowl) in freezer.

Dissolve espresso powder in 150ml warm water and add 50ml Kahula; substitute with matcha powder dissolved in 200ml water. Set aside to cool.

Combine egg yolks and sugar and cook in vain-marie while whisking constantly until mixture surpasses 70°C. Set aside and let cool.

Transfer egg yolks mixture to a larger bowl and add mascarpone cheese. Mix well until smooth.

Combine vanilla extract and heavy cream. Whip cream for ~10mins in frozen bowl with ice bath until a stiff whipped cream is made (mixer: medium speed)

Add whipped cream to egg-cheese mixture and fold to incorporate.

Dunk lady fingers to espresso/tea for 2-3sec. Repeat layering of layer fingers and mascarpone mixture.

Cover and refrigerate for 24hrs+. Dust the top with unsweetened cocoa powder or matcha powder before serving.
