Sticky Pork Ribs

Season the ribs with salt at room temperature.

Heat up an oven-safe pan and grease it with preferred cooking oil.

Put the ribs onto the hot pan. Let colour develop on the ribs and flip when browned.

Slice up some ginger and add it to the pan along with some chopped garlic. Spread them across the pan.

Add some heat to the mix with pepper. (Optional) Add chili flakes, citrus seeds, and peppercorn.

Add honey, soy sauce, vinegar, and rice wine. Bring the mixture to a boil and allow the meat to glaze in it.

Add chicken stock until the liquid almost covers the meat. (Optional) Add sliced onion.

Cook it in the oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.

Turn the meat over and cook for an additional 30 minutes.

Finish the dish by glazing it on the stove again until the liquid reduce into a sauce.

The dish is suitable for refrigeration. The ribs will develop even better taste from marinating in the fridge.
