Beer battered beef stew
Mixture of western and eastern flavor.

步驟

  • Chop beef into dice (1in*1in) Marinate it with sugar for 20 min (To make it tender) After 20min, roll beef dice into flour on all sides.

  • Chop onions and tomato into desired shape (personally, I prefer larger chunks)

  • Preheat the skillet. Pour beef dice into skillet to brown all sides (Let it sit for browning. Only stir occasionally) Heat: high

  • Add rock sugar for better taste (to mix it with pork oil, caramel flavor) Turn heat to med. (The pork oil will be out only at med heat.)

  • Take everything out and stir fried onions and tomatoes with the remaining pork oil/sauce. Heat: browning for high heat. Otherwise med is good enough

  • Take veggies out and pour in the pork. Add the beer. Stew it for 10min. Heat: low-med.

  • Add everything into the pot including condiment. Add water till it covers most of the ingredients (esp. pork)

  • Stew for 40 min.

  • Serve :)

Frequent stirring will lead to failure in browning.
