Creamy Bacon Pasta

Cook pasta in boiled salted water till the package time - 2~3 min. Note. “Boiled” water. Salt for flavor.

Heat up a skillet. Sauté chopped bacon till brown (crispy, if preferred) Nt: No need for extra oil. Bacon won’t stick on “well-heated” skillet

(Brown chopped onions and garlic for flavor, if preferred)

Pour drained pasta into a pan. (Keep 3 cups of pasta water aside) Add 1tbsp butter. Stir occasionally. Heat: med-high

Add 1~1.5 cup of pasta water to the pan. High heat for boiling the water.

Add 1~ 1.5 cup of heavy cream. Heat: med-high Nt: cut down the amount here or use milk for health conscious.

Thicken the sauce. Add bacon in between. (Prefer crispy then add late. Prefer head bacon taste then add early.) stir occasionally Heat: high then med

Add parsley, black pepper, cheese Parmesan ... etc by preference.

-pasta water has starch(thicken the sauce and glue the pasta)
-milk takes long time to condense, but doable (cut down boil time, increase thickening sauce time or thicken the sauce b4 adding pasta)
